What I’m Doing: Being Busy, Busy, Busy
The last two weeks of September have found Dear Husband and I quite busy. Finish up one project, only to find out that you’re behind on another. Further, the weather has been too lovely to stay inside blogging in the afternoons/evenings. (Now, if I could just find someone to pay me to sip coffee, wear PJs, and comment on the news via my blog all day…?) Catching up on Entourage and Californication have eaten into blogging time, too.
So, just a little note to say that if you’re missing all the vitriol, hate, and right-wing bigotry featured here on a semi-regular basis, then don’t worry: we’ll BRB soon. I’ve been working on a series of posts about Christian marriage, the silliness of marriage contracts, and why no government can legitimately “deny” marriage to certain folks because of their sexual preferences. I’ve had to brush up on my Martin Luther to write it. Nothing like reading a cranky old German.

I look forward to the marriage license post. I still begrudge Brookings County the check they made me write to get married.

May your research prove fruitful. I’ve a sister-in-law who chose a covenant marriage (no license from the state at all, IIRC).
