What I’m Surfing: Constant Conservative Celebrates One Year with a Giveaway
In a move that’s sure to bring all the comment lurkers out of the shadows, Constant Conservative is giving away a $25 gift certificate to celebrate the blog’s one year anniversary!
As I noted on Friday, the Constant Conservative has been contributing to the discussion for one year now. In honor of this event, we will give one of our readers a $25 gift code from a well-known online retailer of books, electronics, and just about everything else. How better to show our appreciation? (Sure, I could think of several, but that’s not the point.)
I would participate, but he’s not giving away Killian’s.
Also, I suggest that you purchase Thomas Sowell’s Basic Economics if you win!

If you wanted to, I’m sure you could find someone to barter Killian’s for it.
Thanks for the link.
Well, I would have to question said person’s sanity and stability… Trading away Killian’s?! That’s madness!
I’m just a smidge off topic here, but Leinenkugel’s new seasonal Oktoberfest beer is very good.
To join your (kinda) off topic comment, Sam Adams’ Octoberfest wasn’t as good, personally.
Aw, shoot, Wolfie, let’s just make a discussion out of this. To be quite honest, with the exception of this year’s Summer Ale, I’ve just never acquired a taste for Sam Adams. I can’t put my finger on what it is. Leine, on the other hand, yummy stuff with only an exception or two.
Leneinkugel’s is a favorite here, too. I love their Sunset Wheat! Next time you have it, put a circle slice from an orange in the bottom of your glass, and then pour the cold beer over the orange. I’m sure there’s some scientific explanation for what the chemicals in the beer do to the orange… You’ll won’t care why, though, because you’ll be enjoying delicious, delicious beer.
Have you tried Sam Adams Summer Ale? That’s not too bad.
If you’re on the eastern side of SoDak, you might be able to get a beer called Kostritzers. It’s a bit darker and heavier than Leneinkugel’s. We can’t get it out here, but we always make a point to load up on it whenever we head back to see my folks in KS.
See if you can get Sprecher Octoberfest — it’s a local Milwaukee brew and it’s lovely.
