What I’m Thinking: Bowing to the Saudis

Just a really quick thought: What do you think would have happened if the Dub had bowed to the Saudis leadership when he met with them?  What kinds of headlines do you think that the AP and Reuters would have crafted from that juicy photo?

To be quite frank, I thought that Barry’s bow was another act of freshman ignorance we could add to a long list of stupid comments or actions that most decent Americans would not say or do: giving the United Kingdom PM some DVDs, calling the UK England, giving the QUEEN WHO SURVIVED NAZI BOMBS an iPod, lack of knowledge of military forces in Iraq, making fun of kids in the Special Olympics, loosing his place in reciting the lines written for him on his teleprompters speeches, insulting Nancy Reagan, etc.

On an aside, I am not sure if we should add accidentally (?) calling himself a Muslim to this list – I don’t know if it was a gaffe or a Freudian slip.  I mean, I know I sometimes call myself a lesbian, tree-hugger when I mean to say right-wing, gun totin’, and beer drinkin’ babe.

Anyway… Maybe I’m a dumb redneck too busy clinging to my guns and religion, but I thought it was the Dub who was the ignorant buffoon making an ass of himself and a trava-sham-mockery of the United States.  Americans elected the Most Merciful Lord Barack Obama ibn Obama (peace be upon him) because he is brilliantly educated, an eloquent speaker, and always collected.  It’s not like someone or some organization would need to try ignore his freshman mistakes completely or wipe them from electronic history.
