What I’m Watching: The Beginnings of a Revolution…?

2009 February 20

So the blogosphere has started throwing around the “r” word: revolution.  (Head over to But As For Me to get a summary of this revolutionary mood.)  For my part, I’m really excited about how Barry’s behavior and proposed policies have struck a chord with many folks around the country.

Via Breitbart.

I’m curious, though, as to what this “revolution” would look like… are we going to stop paying our taxes?  Will the 92% of folks who have been paying their mortgages stop paying their mortgages like the other 8%?  Will there be a new Boston Tea Party in Chicago this summer?  Or will all of this frustration just sort of fizzle out?

Just remember – without Jimmy Carter as president, we would have never had a Ronald Reagan.

LOL! Comparing Carter to the Messiah gives Carter too much credit; the Messiah is far more insidious and angry than Carter was.

I am all for organizing not to pay taxes. Why should I pay taxes, pay my own mortgage, pay my own bills, work a job, etc, when a person who doesn’t do any of these will get part of the taxes I pay while paying none of his/her own? Boston Tea Party, yeah!!!!!

      Snickety,

My dear husband and I will be in Chicago if there’s a tea party!
